Since our establishment in 1982, we have supported generations of pupils to reach their highest potential, with many alumni progressing into successful careers in Medicine, Accountancy, Pharmacy, Teaching, Dentistry, and Islamic scholarship.

Learning begins with our Pre-School Unit, LIA Gems, which welcomes children from three months to three years old into a caring and supportive environment. From ages three to eleven, we provide a broad and stimulating curriculum that blends academic achievement with spiritual development. By the end of Year 6, our pupils leave Leicester Islamic Academy equipped with strong academic skills, a sound Islamic education rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and the confidence, resilience, and love of lifelong learning that prepares them for the next stage of their journey.

Our Islamic Studies curriculum is carefully designed to nurture a deep and meaningful connection with faith. Pupils learn to recite the Qur’an with tajweed, memorise surahs from Juz Amma, and gain essential knowledge of Islam. Through engaging lessons in hadith, fiqh, aqeedah, and seerah, they also develop a strong moral compass and a genuine love for their deen.
